Welcome to the registration site for the BVHS Senior Community Service Day. Senior Service Day will take place on Wednesday, October 16th. All seniors will need to sign-up for a service site OR indicate if you are attending CAPS that day.
This DOES COUNT as a day of attendance, so while the rest of the student body is engaged in PSAT and Practice ACT, our seniors serve the community and attendance is taken.
Seniors will meet in the aux gym that morning then travel by bus to their sites. Most will return by 12:30pm which will be the middle of Tiger Paws (some closer to 1pm.) Once we are back, you can either eat lunch/attend Tiger Paws or go ahead and go home. School is released at 1pm that day.
If you are a CAPS student, you have the option to either attend your CAPS program or service day. If you choose to attend CAPS, morning students attend and then go home, afternoon students stay home then report to CAPS at the designated time.
If you choose to attend CAPS instead of Service Day, your attendance is expected there. Morning CAPS students will attend and then head home. Afternoon CAPS students will stay home in the a.m. then report to CAPS for their afternoon session.
